About Us

Laker Farm Implement Service started in 1978 when Wilbur and Jeanie Laker opened a service shop at our current location after previously working for a local Allis Chalmers dealer. We are a 100% family-owned business with all of Wilbur's sons involved in the business and now also a third generation.

In 1981 we took on the Allis Chalmers and Gleaner lines. Through the growing pains with Allis Chalmers, we became a Deutz Allis dealer in 1985. When AGCO originated in 1990 we started our pathway again with the orange tractor heritage and eventually became a full line dealer selling AGCO tractors, AGCO White tractors, White Planters, Black Machine, New Idea, Farmhand, AGCOSTAR, Hesston hay equipment, Glencoe tillage, Tye drills, and of course the Gleaner combine.

Today we have grown our product offerings to include Massey Ferguson, Fendt, Gleaner, White Planters, Sunflower, Hesston by Massey Ferguson, Woods, H&S, Demco grain handling, and Geringhoff.
